Most magic shows would NOT work for an all-adult audience.

The unfortunate truth is, when most people hear “magician,” they think “lame,” “boring,” and “cheesy.”  I get it.

This is because many magicians…

• 🙄 …are so focused on doing their TRICKS that they forget to entertain the audience…
• 🙄 …take themselves SO SERIOUSLY that they’re not very fun to watch… or…
• 🙄 …act SO CORNY that only little KIDS find them amusing.

Whatever. To each his own.

But I Do Things a Little Differently:

• 👍 My focus is on having fun with the audience, not on the tricks,
• 🤪 I do not take myself seriously (probably to a fault), and…
• 🍺 the show is not for kids.

If you’re planning a party or event for adults who like to laugh, your crowd will LOVE what I do.

That depends on the event and audience on any given night.

I’ve got a superpower that most entertainers don’t — reading the room and adjusting on the fly. Whether it’s a wild comedy club show, or a more conservative corporate event, I shift the tone, humor, and energy instantly to match the vibe. It’s sharp, adaptable, and always on point, ensuring everyone has a blast without stepping over any lines.

Regardless of who my audience is, my shows are funny and for ADULTS, but NEVER over-the-top raunchy or obscene;  There are NO explicit or disgusting stories, and NO divisive rants about sensitive, hot-button topics.

Yes! My shows are VERY interactive. People love to see “one of their own” brought onstage to become part of the show. And it’s all in good fun; I don’t “pick on” anyone in a rude or embarrassing way. After the show, I guarantee you will hear the onstage participants saying that they had “so much fun” – even the otherwise SHY folks.

I’ve entertained at a wide range of events (both public and private); Corporate Events, Private Parties, Comedy Clubs, Theaters, Festivals, Fundraisers, Casinos, Resorts, Nightclubs, Bars, Country Clubs, Golf Courses, Awards Nights, Banquet Events, Beer Gardens, Holiday Parties, Colleges, Comedy Nights, Company Events, Conventions, Fraternal Organizations, Motorcycle/Biker Rallies, Office Parties, House Parties, and more.

I’ve performed as a comedy-magician for all types of events and venues, from 15-person staff dinners, to 1,500 seat theaters. But most of my crowds for my stage shows are typically between about 100 and 200 people. I also have a very fun “unplugged” close-up show for small groups (fewer than 30 people).

For my stage show, I need about the same space as a small band – usually about 8 ft deep by 16 ft wide will suffice. But, of course, the larger, the better. The full technical details for that show can be found HERE.

My “Unplugged Close-Up Show,” on the other hand, can fit almost anywhere.

I’m easy to work with. In most cases, when I’m working as the main entertainment (after-dinner stage show for a corporate event, for example), I can provide my own Sound and Lighting equipment, at no additional charge. I’ll just need some electricity to plug into. The full technical details about my show can be found HERE.

For my “Unplugged Close-Up Show,” I don’t need any special staging, sound, or lighting at all.

That varies, depending on the particular type of event, show, and needs of my client. My stage show at a corporate event is usually 60-65 minutes. If I’m headlining a comedy club or casino, it’s generally around 70-75 minutes. My “Unplugged Close-Up Show” is usually around 50 minutes. But I’m flexible – we can chat about the details.

I’m based out of Dubuque, Iowa, and am available to hire nationwide. Most of my gigs, however, are right here in the upper Midwest; Iowa, Wisconsin, Illinois, and Minnesota.
